The school was set to provide education and treatment to the people and the school has different hospitals to enhance effective training as a veterinary teaching hospital, animal hospital as well as medical centers. The hospitals take care of small animals and has a wide range of facilities to be provided for its students like a library as an information resource, laboratories, dining facilities and much more. Moreover, the college campus is full of learning opportunities for the students as they can get an opportunity to acquire veterinary experience by working in one of the college hospitals which is inclusive of the Small Animal Hospital and the Harry D. Peters Large Animal Hospital. The library of the college is located in the Blacksburg Campus that has wide range of books, journals, DVDs and other resources for the students which would help them to solve their educational doubts and acquire knowledge in the related field. The library of the school is part of the Virginia Tech library system.
