Established in 1866, the University of Wisconsin-Plattville is the first teacher preparation school in Wisconsin. This public university in Platteville, Wisconsin has outstanding academic achievements and helps thousands of students find a direct path to success. Today, the University of Wisconsin-Prattville offers more than 40 academic courses designed to help every pupil achieve professional and personal success. These courses are offered through the following three colleges namely College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science, College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture and College of Liberal Arts and Education.
