Established in 1862, the University of South Dakota (USD) is located in Vermillion, South Dakota, United States. This public university is one of the oldest universities of South Dakota set up with the motive of "truth" by providing education in a wide range of programs to the students. There would be no discrimination on any basis. There are approximately 205 undergraduate programs run by the university in arts, science, business, health science, law, and medicine. Campus Life

The University of Dakota's campus covers an area of about 216-acres which is just near to the Missouri River in the southeast corner of the state. For the welfare and the betterment of the students, the university has recently inaugurated Muenster University Center (MUC). This center has many services to offer such as dining, bookstore, convenience store, lounge, TV areas and much more. Moreover, the residence facilities are provided to the students, especially international students to make them feel safe and comfortable while pursuing their higher education. The University of South Dakota has a wellness center that comprises multiple courts for basketball and volley, three-lane for walking and much more.
