The University of La Verna is a private non-profit university located in La Verna, California, approximately 35 miles east of Los Angeles. The university was founded in 1891 and consists of the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business and Public Administration, the Lafitela School of Education, the School of Law, the eight regional campuses of Southern California, and a strong online curriculum. With 55 undergraduate programs, 19 master's degrees, 4 doctoral degrees, and 8 certificate programs, academic opportunities abound. The university is also a pioneer in adult education, offering specialized courses for adult learners on major and regional campuses. The University of La Verne will be recognized nationwide for its rich and relevant educational experience, which will prepare students for greater achievements. Campus Life

The university has expanded its influence throughout Southern California by establishing regional campuses, cooperating with community colleges and the military, and cooperating with businesses and public institutions to provide education to those in need when needed. Today, La Verne has its own bases in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Kern, Santa Barbara, and San Bernardino counties, working with students from these areas to obtain bachelor's, masters, and doctorate degrees.
