Campus Life
The university has expanded its influence throughout Southern California by establishing regional campuses, cooperating with community colleges and the military, and cooperating with businesses and public institutions to provide education to those in need when needed. Today, La Verne has its own bases in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Kern, Santa Barbara, and San Bernardino counties, working with students from these areas to obtain bachelor's, masters, and doctorate degrees. The university offers the benefits and safety of a small suburban town environment, as well as the benefits and opportunities of living near large cities. The university provides 65 student clubs, 18 male and female tertiary sports, fraternities, and societies, student unions, student newspapers, ULV radio, and television stations, and three campus art galleries.
