Located in the city of Belfast, Stranmillis University College offers BEd, PGCE, and TESOL along with several courses. It offers courses in childhood studies business and enterprise, mathematics and science, physical activity and sport. It has been a part of Queen’s University Belfast since 1968 when it began offering the university’s degrees. It also provides extensive support to assist students with employment after graduation and skills. The Degree Enhancement Program provides students with optional short courses and volunteering opportunities to help students stand out from the crowd. Nearly 20% of international students add to the college diversity. A wide range of opportunities is available with educational charities, youth agencies, and faith-based organizations.    

Campus Life

Located on a 46-acre site in South Belfast, the campus is easily accessed from all of the main public transport hubs. The campus is equipped with modern teaching spaces, ponds, woodlands, and open spaces, and a self-contained campus for students to study. The colorer grounds with its rich and varied habitats with trees planted about 200 years ago have created the woodland landscape. The Library provides access to a wide range of quality resources that support research, learning, and teaching. It has a gym, sports hall, dance hall, drama theatre, music rooms, ceramic, art, and textile suites, and much more.
