ST. CATHERINE UNIVERSITY

Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1905, St. Catherine University is a Roman Catholic liberal arts institution rooted in St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota. The women's college at the heart of the university, it aims to educate and influence women on leadership while emphasizing academic inquiry and social justice teaching at all degree levels. However, in recent years, co-educational graduate and certificate courses have also been introduced. Around 1,000 possible courses across 100 academic departments are offered here. The domains are divided into four schools; health, arts and sciences, humanities, business and professional studies, and social work. Besides, the Twin Cities is a good place for learners to live and study, providing a wide range of cultural venues such as Walker Art Center and Minneapolis College of Art, as well as companies such as Xcel Energy, Ameriprise Financial and St. Jude Medical for internship opportunities.

The Student Center and Activities (SCA) contribute to vibrant campus life by stimulating and encouraging opportunities for students to participate; empowering students to create and connect with the community.
