Established in 1964, Shoreline Community College is a public community institution located in Shoreline, Washington. The college has its accreditation with the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. With an engagement of more than 11,000 full-and-part-time students, Shoreline has the most diverse and inclusive community in Washington. The college has a mission to provide the best quality education and workforce to the students so that they can achieve their life goals. Shoreline offers more than 100 areas of study. Students here complete their first two years of study and then take a transfer to the top U.S universities for another two years so that they can earn their bachelor's degree. By doing so, they can earn a single degree from two institutions that would leave a positive academic impact on their profile. Some of the students choose Shoreline Community College only to gain a Workforce degree or a certificate of the specialized subject. Campus Life

Shoreline has a lush green, 83-acres of campus, just 1 mile away from the city of Seattle. The campus holds all the modern amenities required to have an engaging student-life. It encompasses in total 26 world-class buildings, a state-of-the-art facilitated computer center, a theater, a visual arts building, a health and wellness center, a gym, a child care center, and the edge-cutting library/Technology center. For extracurricular, students can join various on-campus events, recreational activities, and different student clubs and organizations. On-campus housing and dining options are also available here. The college also offers transportation services to those who reside outside the campus. Students here can also play various inaugural sports at the playing fields. Overall, the campus looks perfect in all terms.

Some of the valuable alumni of Shoreline includes: Halvor Reini Hagen - a former American football player, Rod Harrel - an actor-writer-director in theatre, video production and film productions, Robert Alan Hasegawa - an American politician serving as a member of the Washington State Senate, and John R. Lovick - a Democratic member of the Washington House of Representatives.
