Saint Mary's University is a private Marianist liberal arts institution situated in San Antonio, Texas. St. Mary’s University was founded by the Mary Society in 1852 and is the oldest Catholic university in Texas and the Southwestern United States. The university is home to the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Technology, Grayer School of Business, and the St. Mary's University School of Law. In addition to professional preparatory courses in medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, allied health, and law, St. Marys College also offers 75 academic courses. St. Marys graduate program offers 19 post-graduate degree programs and two doctoral degrees. Program. The Center for Catholic Studies helps students and faculty explore social policy issues and examine the Catholic Church in society and culture. Campus Life

Saint Mary's University's main campus is located in San Antonio itself. The university offers many facilities like libraries, museums, on-campus transportation, and on-campus as well as off-campus residential facilities. The life of fraternity and sorority at St. Mary’s University is dedicated to enhancing the abilities of the members of the Greek alphabet so that they can transcend, promote and maintain the four principles of brotherhood, sisterhood, leadership, scholarship and service. St. Mary’s University has 13 residence halls, which provide a variety of communities. Depending on age, major, and classification, students may be eligible to choose from several auditoriums. Each lobby serves a different type of community and provides various plans and spaces to relax, learn, and entertain. St. Mary’s University is a member of NCAA's second campus and the Lonely Star Conference and sponsors 12 men’s college sports. The highest priority of the university is to provide all our students with a comprehensive academic experience. In addition to outstanding scholars, the university also provides a series of services, such as career counseling, psychological counseling, and examination guidance. The Student Health Center caters to various medical needs, from physical examinations and annual check-ups to outpatient services for illnesses and injuries.
