Campus Life
The main campus of Louisiana State University is located in Shreveport, Louisiana itself. The campus is home to various student organizations, from academic and professional clubs, honor societies to special interest groups, spiritual groups, and Greek life. The university offers many ways to enhance a student's university experience. Joining a campus organization provides opportunities to meet new people, develop leadership skills, and connect with other students, campus, and community members. The task of student activities is to implement experiential learning and personal development by providing leadership opportunities and training, creating an atmosphere of discovery through education and entertainment activities, exploring the diversity of ideas, cultures, and issues, and coordinating and creating citizen participation through community services. Encourage campus recycling, environmental awareness, and sustainability. The Department of Recreation and Sports provides comprehensive in-wall programs to promote sportsmanship, college competitions, and physical exercise venues to build awareness, education, training, and activities to promote individual and group fitness and provide comprehensive physical, mental, spiritual, and spiritual health care methods.
