Nestled between the picturesque mountains of Pennsylvania, Lock Haven University is a public university and is part of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. Since its foundation in 1870, the university has continuously progressed and has worked for the betterment of the students and society. LHU believes that students are the future of a better world and in order to substantiate that, the university offers great services and programs to students. Every year more than 4,600 students get enrolled in Lock Haven Univeristy with an acceptance rate of 94%. From the total student population, nearly 230 students come from 50 different countries. The university offers great programs for the graduate and undergraduate level with personalized learning facilities. Campus Life

Lock Haven University has a unique belief that along with the good academics, exciting and striking campus life also matters so that students feel engaged while present on the campus. The university has a huge 200-acres of campus with a decent construction that has almost every facility covered such as administrative building, apartments for accommodation services, dining hall, recreational hall, stadium, library, global honors hall, campus village, the alumni office, arts buildings, and different studios. The university offers stellar activities such as intramural games, homecoming games, theme dinners, prom nights, Halloween parties, and many more. The student organizations and clubs look after every student and make sure that the university never faces any dull moment!
