Keyano College, located in Fort McMurry, Alberta, is a post-secondary college and was established in 1965. Previously the college was known as the Alberta Vocational Centre but later in 1975; it was renamed to Keyano which means “Sharing” in Cree. The college has three campuses from which the main campus is the Clearwater Campus in Fort McMurry, the second campus is Suncor Energy Industrial Campus, and the last is located in Fort Chipewyan. The college offers a variety of programs like certificate programs, diploma programs, one-year, two-year programs and many other programs in various fields. Programs like Aboriginal Entrepreneurship, Childhood Studies, Bachelor of Education, Environmental Technology, Office Administration, Human Resources Management, Social Work, and University Studies are offered to the students of this college.
