Indiana University South Bend, also referred to as IU South Bend is a public institute rooted in South Bend, Indiana. It is the third biggest campus of Indiana University. Since its establishment in 1916, the tradition and innovation history of IU South Bend has begun here. This welcoming university is popular among apprentices, serves more than 7,500 students every year! Besides, over 100 undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different fields are offered here. The Career Services Office (CSO) provides services to students through various services with all stages of education, career consultation and evaluation, resume and cover letter review, job search advice, etc.

Campus Life

The campus borders the St. Joseph River and is also the focal point of the area. Rising over 50 years, the campus now consists of 11 buildings which include the River Crossing student dormitory, varied Education and Arts Building and a 100,000 square-foot Student Activity Centre. Students in the college have the opportunity to interact with more than 100 clubs including Titan Group, which regularly hosts entertainment events on campus. Such activities enable them to further pursue their interests. Besides, living on campus supports one to successfully transition to rigorous university life, live independently as well as participate in residential life programs and activities.

Noted Alumni

The university is not only committed to providing services to current students but is also committed to the entire South Bend alumni community. Some of the eminent personalities include– science fiction author Michael Kube-McDowell, Judge on the Indiana Court of Appeals Hon. Melissa S. May, biologist Andrew Schnabel and Miss Indiana 1992 Shelli Yoder are affiliated with the institute. Besides, nearly 30,000 alumni have discovered the benefits of joining the IU South Bend Alumni Association, which aims to sponsor programs that benefit campuses, alumni and communities.
