Established in 1961 to provide quality of education along with the services and facilities to the students, Florida Atlantic University is situated in Boca Raton, Florida. This public university has been classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities in high research activity." The university offers programs at different levels such as bachelor's, masters and doctoral. There are ten colleges of Florida Atlantic University run programs in medicine, design, nursing, business, engineering and so on. Not restricted to this, the university offers honors seminars, forums and advanced courses for the freshmen.

Campus Life

The university has various satellite campuses namely Dania Beach, Davie, Fort Lauderdale, Jupiter, Fort Pierce. Florida Atlantic University provides accommodation facilities to the students at the main campus in Boca Raton. The dining services are provided around 16 different locations, including Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Subway and Pollo Tropical. Taking care of student's health, there is a fitness and wellness centre available for the students. Many events are held on campus such as "Greek Week" with the theme is Greek life. The university organizes intramural, club sports, as well as adventure programs.
