A public institution established in 1870, Hunter College is one of the colleges that constitute CUNY (City University of New York), providing more than 170 rich and challenging academic courses that enable the students to have a global outlook. Campus Life

Hunter College has three campuses in New York City; Brookdale, East Harlem, and 68th Street. Along with satellite facilities, the students have access to many libraries across the city. That houses a variety of academic journals and books catering to all different subjects. There are over 150 clubs to choose from, which reflects student diversity in the college. Student-run media includes a campus radio station called WHCS and the Envoy, which is the newspaper. There is a limited accommodation facility available, which offers a unique and enriching experience. The fitness facilities include a sportsplex, wrestling room, gymnasium, fencing studio, racquetball court, swimming pool, and much more. The students get a chance to explore the city of opportunities with some of the best museums, libraries, and Central Park.
