Claremont College is situated in the city of Claremont, California and opened in the province in 1925. Claremont College is considered a unique and different college because it has seven vivid colleges on the same campus itself. This college is also known as 7cs composed of seven different colleges. To add to this, the college has five undergraduate schools and two graduate schools. The founder of the college was James Blaisdell. This college has received many nicknames like Pomona-Pitzer Sagehen and Athena.

Campus Life

The college campus covers an area of about 546 acres, which is a neighbour of the foothills. Claremont College has seven different colleges namely Pomona College, Claremont Graduate University, SCRIPPS, Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer College and KGI. Moreover, the colleges are not only limited in providing education to the students; rather they provide them with on-campus services as well as recreational activities. Claremont College has the main library with a large collection of books, journals and electronic equipment for the student's education. The other services include healthcare services, medical, dining, sports and so on. There are other events organized on-campus every year by the students club which is very refreshing and enjoyable.

The denominations of the eminent alumni have always been there for the college and increased the goodwill of the Claremont Colleges.
