The British and an Irish Modern Music Institute is a group of eight independent colleges and thus is also the parent organization of Tech Music School. It acquired Tech Music School London in the year 2010. For over 27 years, TMS students have transformed their passions into their careers. Over 60 nationalities are represented within their student community just proves how diverse the university is. BIMM is the largest contemporary music education provider across Europe. It gives the young talents the opportunities to run record labels, promote live gigs, product TV shows, write blogs, run social media campaigns for artists and brands, and develop entrepreneurial ideas. It is popular for its legendary Masterclasses that feature some of music’s most successful names.  

Campus Life

The Campus for Music School is established in Brighton, Birmingham, Bristol, London, and Manchester. BIMM Institute is a part of a larger group of Creative Education spaces that include Performing Arts (Institute for Contemporary Theatre, Performers College, Northern Ballet School) and Film and TV (Screen and Film School). TMS is located in Fulham, London making it convenient for students to find work. They offer higher and further education music courses from degrees and diplomas. The Institute has some prolific and renowned rehearsal spaces that give a professional space for students and artists to learn. BIMM’s creative space has been designed specifically to nurture and develop student talent. It has a student support team that provides the student's education support, mentor scheme, house and funding advice, and a separate team for international students.

Noted Alumni

Some incredibly amazing and talented panel of alumni includes artists such as George Ezra, Ella Mai, James bay, and Aditya Narayan have walked through BIMM’s doors and right into the music industry. The University holds a record of placing 2,196 students in the industry and providing them a stance.
