Anne Arundel Community College is situated in Arnold, Maryland which is a suburb area. It was established in 1961 and is 59 years old. This college was named Community College of the year by National Business Alliance in 2000. The total number of students is 53,476 and the faculty-student ratio is 17:1. The school uses a semester-based academic calendar. There are 264 full-time and 804 part-time faculties and 610 administrative staff. Out of state tuition fees were$12,740, instate tuition fees were $7880 and the in-district tuition fees were $4670 in 2018-19, there is no application fee. Popular programs available are- Liberal Arts and Sciences, Related Programs, Marketing, Related Support Service, General Studies and Humanities, Management, Health Professions, and business. Students are offered degrees and certificates in 18 different fields.

Campus Life

The college has a suburban campus that is spread over 230 acres. 68.3% of the student population lives off-campus and 26.3 % of the student population lives on the campus. The college also provides an athletic program for both men and women, there is something about being a river hawk! The campus has various other things and activities lined up for students like- Performing Arts Center, Two Art galleries, clubs and student organizations, internship opportunities for students, study abroad for experience, Volunteering to enhance and learn civil responsibilities, and so on. The campus is secure and safe for students and it has dining facilities where students can choose various options for meals.
